Consignment Policy
Pieces Boutique takes clothing and accessories on consignment by special appointment only.
Review
your closet for the name brand items that are in the best condition and most current
in style. Pieces Boutique accepts sizes 2 to 2X. Season is very important to me when considering
your items.
Seasons are generally:
Spring: February, March, April Summer: May, June, July August:
Summer Clearance Fall:
September, Oct Winter:
November, December January: Winter Clearance
Holiday
items - October 15th
I will be taking your consignments on a scheduled drop off basis.
You will schedule a drop off
appointment, and I will quickly review your items and return any no-thank-you's and your hangers to you at that
time.
I will then enter your items into my computer, tag them and get them on the floor for sale.
You can pick up a printout of your items and prices, or they can be mailed to you.
Following are a few simple reminders
when choosing your items for consignment: I will consider 25 items per appointment, not including accessories Current contemporary styles within the last
2 years Excellent if not new condition Zippers, buttons, and hooks should be working Clean, pressed
and on hangers Major department store brands i.e.,
Ann Taylor, Old Navy, Gap, Forever 21, Carol Little, Coldwater Creek, 9-west, Alfani,
INC, Chicos, etc. We do not accept items
from Walmart or K-mart Shoes should be in "like new" condition and polished. There is a $1
charge for any preparation. Jewelry should be cleaned
No
items should be brought in in garbage bags. I will not even look at items presented to me this way.
Your items will be displayed for 60 days and you will earn 40% of the final selling price. It is your responsibility to check your account. We suggest checking after the first 30 days and at the end of your consignment period. Pieces Boutique is not
responsible for items lost, stolen or damaged.
Items may be reduced by up to 50% during your consignment period for sales, promotions and natural reductions. You will have 7 days from the ending date of your consignment to pick up items.
you must call at least 24 hours in advance so that your items may be pulled and ready for you to pick-up. I cannot
pull items with out prior notice. All expired items
not picked up will either be donated, or reconsigned under the donation account and all monies earned will be used to
support local charities throughout the year.
